The Finding Inspiration Foundation hosts film screenings and community events designed to spark honest conversations around mental health, healing, and emotional wellbeing.
Our events use short narrative films as conversation starters—creating space for reflection, dialogue, and connection. Screenings are paired with facilitated discussions, Q&A sessions, and mental health resources to ensure audiences feel supported and informed.
Curious about submitting a film for one of our screenings? Scroll to the bottom of the page to learn more!

Each event may include:
A screening of one or more Finding Inspiration films
Or a screening of another filmmaker’s work
Guided discussion questions or moderated conversation
Guest speakers with lived experiences or mental health professionals (when available)
Resource sharing for continued support
Events are intentionally designed to be approachable, inclusive, and rooted in empathy rather than judgment.
Our screenings and conversations are hosted in partnership with:
Nonprofits and community organizations
Schools and universities
Workplaces and wellness programs
Libraries and community centers
Whether the audience is ten people or two hundred, our goal remains the same: create a safe space for people to engage with mental health topics honestly and openly.
Many people struggle in silence. Our events help break that silence by normalizing mental health conversations and reminding attendees that they are not alone.
By meeting people where they are—through story—we make difficult topics more accessible and less intimidating.
We will be bringing back our monthly events every third Thursday, beginning on April 16, 2026 - doors open at 6:30 PM.
