It’s all about connection

Our Films

The Finding Inspiration Foundation produces short narrative films that explore mental health, emotional resilience, and the silent struggles so many people carry alone.

Each film is designed not just to be watched—but to be discussed, reflected on, and used as a catalyst for healing conversations in communities, classrooms, workplaces, and homes.

I have been creating films since I was 7 years old. I learned how to edit using a VHS tape and a bulky camcorder. The one constant in the ever-changing field is the capacity for film to be a catalyst for change. Whether that change is short-term (lifting your mood or lowering it), long-term (mindset shift), or somewhere in the middle, it is undeniable how powerful storytelling can be. Blending our filmmaking expertise along with our passion for community development and mental health conversations just feels like the right next step.

What started as a film competition (see our founder page) turned into a lifelong journey of healing and self-discovery. We'd love to speak with you about partnering. Let's work.

FEATURED FILM: FINDING INSPIRATION (EP. 1)

A quiet, abstract portrait of emotional isolation and suicidal ideation—Finding Inspiration invites viewers to look beyond routine and recognize the signs of unseen struggle.

FINDING INSPIRATION

(EP. 2)

When It All Falls Quiet is the second installment in the Finding Inspiration film series. This emotionally raw short explores the impact of alcohol addiction and the quiet breakdown of a marriage tested by unspoken pain, financial pressure, and chronic stress.

FINDING INSPIRATION

(EP. 3)

The Weight We Carry explores the emotional and mental struggles of single parents—specifically single mothers—who balance love, responsibility, and exhaustion while trying to hold everything together. It’s a story of resilience, sacrifice, and the quiet courage it takes to keep showing up when life feels too heavy.

FINDING INSPIRATION

(EP. 4)

A quiet, abstract portrait of emotional isolation and suicidal ideation—Finding Inspiration invites viewers to look beyond routine and recognize the signs of unseen struggle.

FINDING INSPIRATION

(EP. 5 in pre-production)

The Vow is the fifth installment in the Finding Inspiration film series and is currently in pre-production, with filming planned for January–February 2026.

This powerful narrative follows a broken man haunted by grief, guilt, and generational expectations of masculinity. After losing his family, he spirals in isolation—unable to process his pain or articulate his need for help. When a chance encounter leads him to a grassroots men’s healing group, he is offered one final opportunity: to confront his wounds, redefine strength, and find a path back to connection with his son.

The Vow explores how silence, pride, and unaddressed grief can destroy relationships—and how community, vulnerability, and accountability can begin to restore them.
